The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, was built by Maharaja Sawai Jaisingh II. One of the only planned cities of its time, it is designed as per the Shilpa Shastra. Jaipur, a strategically located destination, is well connected with major parts of the country and is easily accessible by air, road and rail.

While Industries such as Auto & Auto Components, Minerals, Cement, Gems & Jewellery and Handicrafts have been in focus, the State Government has put in policy measures to promote IT/ ITeS, BioTechnology, Healthcare etc.

The State’s proactive and pro investment government has attracted corporations like Cairn Energy PLC, Deutsche Bank, Climate Systems, Coca Cola, DCM Shriram, Electrolux, Ericsson, Federal Mohgul Automotive Products, Gillette, Grasim Industries, Gujarat Ambuja Cement, Infosys, JK Tyre, QH Talbors, Motor Industries Company Ltd. And Wipro to establish their base in Rajasthan.
